How it works

Answer a few questions, we call you, and your exercise and nutrition team builds a plan around your treatment.

Three steps to your first session

  1. Answer a few questions

About two minutes. Your type of cancer, where you are with treatment, and what you'd like to work on. Share only what you're comfortable with.

    2 minutes
  2. We call you and build your team

A short call with one of our team to talk through your answers, then we put together your exercise physiologist, dietitian and oncology nurse.

    Within [N] working days
  3. Start your plan

Your first session is an assessment, so your plan starts from where you actually are. In person or online, adjusted as treatment goes on.

    Two sessions a week

Support at every stage of cancer

Wherever you are, your plan covers both how you move and how you eat.

Before treatment

Build strength, fitness and good nutrition in the weeks before surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy, so you go in as prepared as you can be.

During treatment

Exercise and eating adjusted week to week to how treatment is affecting you, to help with fatigue, appetite and holding on to your strength.

After treatment

Rebuild strength, energy and confidence once treatment ends, at a pace your body is ready for.

Living beyond cancer

A longer-term plan that keeps you active and eating well, and fits around the rest of your life.

You're never on your own

Between sessions, there's always someone to ask.

Our support team

Your point of contact from start to finish. Sessions, bookings, changes to your plan, or anything you're unsure about.

Our oncology nurse

For any questions about your cancer, your treatment or its side effects, and how they fit with your plan.

How we choose your team

From your answers and our call, in this order.

  1. Your cancer

Specialists experienced in your type of cancer. Breast cancer rehabilitation is not the same as recovery after bowel surgery.

  2. Where you are with treatment

Preparing for surgery, mid-chemotherapy and a year into remission ask different things of your team.

  3. Where you live

Close to home for in-person sessions. Online, we can build your team from across the UK.

  4. What you prefer

A male or female practitioner, and anything else you tell us that would make you more comfortable.

Your answers stay private

We only use your health answers to build your team, and only your team sees them. You can withdraw them at any time in your account settings. Privacy policy

Common questions

Do I need a GP referral?

No. You can start yourself. Your GP, consultant or another clinician can also refer you.

Can I start while I'm still having treatment?

Yes. Before, during and after treatment are all part of what your team does. This works alongside your hospital care, never instead of it.

How much does it cost?

From £80 a week: weekly exercise sessions with a clinical exercise physiologist, regular consultations with a registered dietitian, ongoing support from our oncology nurse and team, and your own dashboard showing your progress.

What happens in the first session?

An assessment. Your exercise physiologist goes through your history and takes baseline measurements, so your plan starts from where you actually are.

Is this for emergencies?

No. If you need urgent help, call 999 or NHS 111, or contact your hospital team.
